Blue Moose Dance Company are currently working on the Learning Outside the Classroom project with Lancashire County Council's Learning Excellence Team. The project, funded by the Lancashire PE Advisory Team and Learning Outside the Classroom, supports Primary Schools in Lancashire to investigate dance inspired by their outdoor spaces, whether this be urban or rural. Each Primary School works with our artists over 4 weeks to learn from, investigate and create a performance based in repsonse to their outdoor space. 

 

Sarah Hall, our Co-creative Director, also delivered a training session and performance presentation at the Learning Outside the Classroom Conference in March 2015 at Borwick Hall. This helped inspire teachers to understand the broad range of cross-curricular links and additional learning from outdoor dance activity and instill confidence in delivering these ideas in their own school settings
